Temporary employment of 10% as a teaching assistant for the master’s programme in computer science, at the Department of Information Technology, starting as soon as possible.
Duties: As a student assistant, you are in touch with prospective students as well as assisting the program manager in activities aimed at the program's students before, during and after their studies. Your tasks include, but are not limited to, monitoring and, if possible, answering mail from presumptive students, assisting in various forms of information efforts, and keeping relevant contacts within and outside of the university.
Requirements: You should be an active student at, or have recently studied at, the master's programme in computer science. Good knowledge of the master's programme in computer science as well as good command of English is required.The position involves handling many different contacts and great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the tasks.
Terms: Employment as a student assistant is regulated by the Higher Education Ordinance chapter 5. Only students at the first level or advanced level may be employed as a student assistant (HF 5 chapter §10).
