Uppsala University invites applications for a 1-year researcher position (with option to extend an additional year) in infant social cognition at the Department of Psychology, Uppsala Child and Baby Lab. The position is financed by the Swedish Research Council 2014-1156 (PI: Christine Fawcett).
The researcher will be expected to conduct collaborative research in line with the goals of the grant to examine early social cognition with a focus on interpersonal synchrony. Administration and teaching (max 20%) can be included.
The position is funded for 1 year, with possibility to extend.
To qualify, the applicant must hold a doctoral degree in psychology, preferably within developmental psychology or related field. Excellent skills in spoken and written English are required. Swedish skills are beneficial but not required. Research experience with young children using eye tracking and/or experimental behavioral methods, statistical and programming skills (e.g., R, MATLAB), and good project management skills are also required.
