Sustainable development at the Department of Earth Sciences

Research and education in sustainable development at the Department of Earth Sciences rests on an interdisciplinary approach to UN´s 17 sustainability goals regarding Earth science, natural resources and society.

The Department of Earth Sciences is responsible for sustainable development as a field of study. Large parts of our education and research relates to sustainable development and since the subject is broad and interdisciplinary we are involved in different networks and collaborations both within Uppsala University, in Sweden and internationally.
