Entry requirements
Bachelor degree in addition to 30 credits within Sustainable Destination Development, including Introduction to Sustainable Destination Development and Qualitative and Quantitative Method.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should be able to
- search, collect, evaluate, and in a critical way interpret relevant data in a given problem and discuss research issues related to the specific phenomenon and situation,
- independently identify, formulate and solve problems, and carry out a project task within a given time frame,
- orally and in writing present and discuss the problem, the data and the solutions in a dialogue with different target groups,
- work independently with the chosen subject area,
- demonstrate a scientific approach,
- independently carry through an opposition.
Content
In the degree project, the students shall apply knowledge acquired during their studies by independently compiling and presenting a project task within a given time frame. The task must be chosen so that the knowledge gained from previous studies can be applied, broadened and deepened.
Instruction
Individual research and development work, report writing, individual supervision and seminars.
Assessment
Oral and written presentation of the thesis (see Other Regulations). Written and oral opposition to another thesis (normally within the same programme), or a corresponding task defined by the examiner.
