Short presentation
My doctoral project concerns the investigation of materials for solar energy application through a variety of techniques, mainly Hard X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (HAXPES - 2 keV - 15 keV). In particular, thin films and single crystals of BaZrS3 and lead halide perovskites are under study, where the HAXPES technique is a powerful tool allowing us to understand the elemental composition of surfaces and interfaces, it is sensitive to the chemical environment and accesses electronic properties.
