Research

As a postdoctoral researcher at Uppsala University, I'm dealing with Infrared observations obtained with the James Webb space telescope. Using the data, we trace back the history of the early universe only 200 million years after the Big Bang in order to search for "Direct-Collapse Black Hole candidates," thought to be the precursor to supermassive black holes.

I also do research in High Energy Astrophysics and study accreting X-ray pulsars by performing X-ray data analysis using X-ray observations obtained by various X-ray space telescopes such as XMM-Newton, Chandra, Swift, NuSTAR, and HXMT.
