Short presentation
Savina Sirik is a postdoctoral researcher at the Hugo Valentin Centre, Uppsala University. Savina has conducted extensive fieldwork throughout Cambodia, working to document the experiences of survivors of the Khmer Rouge genocide. Her main research interests include memories and narratives of survivors, intergenerational memories, memorialization, victimhood, and perpetrators. She holds a PhD in Peace and Development Research from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.
