Short presentation
I have more than 30 years of experience in palaeontology, palaeogeography and biostratigraphy with a solid background in geology of the Precambrian to Mesozoic sedimentary basins in the Arctic.
There are three main directions in my research:
Early Evolution of molluscs;
Ediacaran-Cambrian transition and Cambrian explosion of Metazoan; and
Late Proterozoic-Early Paleozoic paleogeography and biostratigraphy.
Keywords
- arctic geology
- biostratigraphy
- early mollusc evolution
- paleogeography
- world basement geological maps
