The Swedish Linnaeus Society has donated its archives to Uppsala University Library. The archives have been deposited at the library since the 1970’s and contain documents from the Society’s founding in 1917 until 2021.

The archive contains manuscripts by Carl Linnaeus as well as various documents concerning his activities. A collection of rare books and a number of manuscripts related to Carl Linnaeus are also included in the donation and are transferred from the Carl Linnaeus Museum to the University Library.
