Marine-based power

Research on wave power ranges from electricity systems and generators to hydrodynamic modelling and environmental aspects of wave power parks. The University has a special research facility for wave power research at Lysekil on the west coast of Sweden. The research also involves the area known as Ocean Energy, which combines wave power with tidal power and offshore wind power.
