Quicker, more accurate captions with Canvas Studio

Making accessible recordings (video and podcasts) has just become even easier in Canvas Studio. In the latest release, Studio creates captions for media uploaded after March 25, 2024 automatically. This eliminates the need to request captions for newly uploaded media files. The captions are also much more accurate for spoken English (up to 99%), which means less editing required.
YouTube and Vimeo media uploads continue to require caption file uploads or manually created captions.
