About the course
Through the course, you will gain an understanding of how to further develop a protein-based biological drug after the initial proposed design of the drug. You will work on designing experiments to analyse if the biological drug has the predicted effect as well as in-depth formulate which indication you should treat and which diagnostic tools can be used to find the right patient group. They will also develop a target products profile (TPP) for the drug candidate and based on this formulate a quality TPP. With this base, they will learn more about analytical tools that can be used during the process development of a drug and also gain an understanding of how the drug and/or its effects can be measured in biological samples by e.g. mass spectrometry.
