Recommended literature
The following books are recommended for those of you who feel that you need to brush up on your knowledge of human rights law. They are intended for those of you who have not studied human rights before (in such case, read Rhona Smith) or if you feel that you need to refresh your knowledge of the topic (in that case, Alston & Goodman is recommended). They should ideally be read before the course starts in January.
