Entry requirements
Professional degree in Physiotherapy or Medicine. For students within the Physiotherapy Programme a minimum of ECTS 135 credits including all courses in the subject Physiotherapy.
Learning outcomes
The course provides in-depth knowledge of the medical field related to physical activity and sports. The participants will learn about preventing and rehabiliting sports injuries in children and adults.
Content
Sports traumatology and overload damage. The physiology of exercise and exercise theory. Rehabilitation of people with sports and exercise injuries. Physical exercise when having asthma, diabetes and eating distorders.
Prevention of sports injuries.
Instruction
This is a distance course. Tuition is in the form of lectures, practical demonstrations, seminars, and their own field studies.
Assessment
Satisfactory completion of written assignment and advanced assignment.
