Entry requirements
90 credits within subjects with relevance for the project work. Note: the student must contact a research team to arrange location and supervisors before applying to the course.
Learning outcomes
The course should provide advanced knowledge on how to search scientific facts and give experience in how to plan, carry out and present scientific work.
The student is expected to, with some support, be able to on completion of the course:
- search scientific literature
- summarise scientific literature
- plan and carry out a scientific experiment
- analyse scientific facts
- present scientific data in written and oral form
Content
The project comprises practical work in connection to ongoing research and studies of connected literature.

The project work is presented at a seminar in the presence of the examiner. Furthermore, a written report, accepted by the examiner is required for a pass grade in the course.
