Entry requirements

150 credits including 75 credits in computer science, including 15 credits at G2F-level or higher, and 20 credits in mathematics. Admission requires a project plan accepted by the department.

Learning outcomes

On completion of the course, the student should

  • be able to search, collect, evaluate and interpret relevant information in a problem critically and to discuss phenomena, issues and situations critically
  • be able to identify independently, formulate and solve problems and to carry out assignments within given periods
  • be able to report, orally and in writing, and discuss information, problems and solutions in dialogue with different groups
  • be able to work independently in the area of the education

Content

Within the course, the student carries out an independent project in computer science. In this project, the skills and abilities that should be achieved according to the aims for a Bachelor's degree are used and trained. Within the project, the student applies the acquired knowledge and experience in computer science on a specific problem. The project is normally of research or development nature.

Instruction

The teaching is formed individually dependent on the specialisation of the project. Supervision is given individually or in groups, but also other tuition forms can occur. Have contact with research or development work,

Assessment

The course is examined based on the implemented work and the written and oral presentation of this in either Swedish or English.
