Entry requirements
150 credits including 30 credits in courses on advanced level in Industrial Engineering and Management.
Learning outcomes
After a successful completion of the course the student should be able to:
- in groups, plan and implement an engineering project based on goals, method and schedule,
- seek, apply and report in-depth and broadened knowledge in industrial engineering and other relevant technology areas to complete the project,
- in groups, summarize their results systematically and clearly report these in writing and verbally, for both an academic and non-academic audience,
- give constructive criticism to others' oral and written presentations.
Content
Projects are in the form of a technical development project that is requested from a company or organisation. Market aspects will also be taken into account. Project work should preferably involve contacts in business.
Instruction
Project work in a group, seminars and lectures.
Assessment
Active participation in the planning and implementation of the project, as well as seminars. Oral and written presentation of project work. Opposition to another project work.
