Kort presentation
Jag är docent i anestesiologi och forskar inom området professionellt lärande. Jag har undervisat om kvalitativ forskningsmetodik och skrivit om fenomenografi som kvalitativ metod. För närvarande arbetar jag med teamträning i simulatormiljö vid Kliniskt träningscentrum på Akademiska sjukhuset Uppsala.

Forskning:
Regelföljande som ett möjligt hinder för intuitivt lärande inom anestesiologi: I en pilotstudie har jag visat att en regel för hur narkosinledning ska genomföras, som lärs ut till unga läkare, i vissa fall kan öka risken för luftvägsproblem vid anestesiinduktion. Vår hypotes är att en strikt tillämpning av regler kan hindra läkarna från att lära sig ett mera nyanserad sätt att genomföra narkosinduktionen. Detta kommer att undersökas i en större studie.
