Biografi
PerOla Oberg has published research on Public Administration, Interest Groups, Corporatism, Lobbying, Trust, and Deliberation. His current research concern Expertise and Public Policy, Civil Society, Deliberative Governance, Citizen Participation, Civic values, and the use of learning, experience and knowledge in public policy.
He has published in journals such as The Journal of European Public Policy, Public Administration, Policy Sciences, Public Administration Review, Political Studies, Policy Studies Journal, West European Politics, Governance, and European Political Science Review.
Öberg has contributed with handbook chapters with research on Science and Policy Design (Edward Elgar), Deliberation (Edward Elgar), Local Policy Analysis (Routledge), and Interest Group Politics (Oxford University Press).
Recent publications include:
"Deliberative Civic Culture. Assessing the prevalence of deliberative conversational norms" (with J. Jennstål and K.Uba) is published in Political Studies 2021, 69 (2), 366-389.
"Monotonous or Pluralistic Public Discourse? Reason-giving and dissent in Denmark’s and Sweden’s early 2020 COVID-19 responses" (with .Baekkeskov and O. Rubin) is published in European Journal of Public Policy 2021, 20 (8).
