About Department of Public Health and Caring Sciences

Our department conducts interdisciplinary and multi-professional research in areas of high relevance to current and future health care. Our activities are conducted in close collaboration with various actors in both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as with municipalities and various authorities.
Our research has the character of "from molecule to society" and is conducted in various interdisciplinary projects in areas such as caring science, health care research, medical ethics and geriatrics. The research, which is of great benefit to society, is in high demand and often directly implemented into practice.

We provide education in nursing, medicine, speech therapy, and specialist nursing programmes, as well as a master's programme in public health science and a large number of freestanding courses.
