Visitors
During the building's opening hours, visitors have access to entrance level 0 where the Service Centre and some seating and student areas are located. You also have access to floor K1 where Restaurant Segerstedt is located.
To reach other areas and meeting rooms, you need to have a booked meeting with someone in the building who will meet you on floor 0 at an agreed time.

Welcome to the Service Centre on floor 0, entrance from Dag Hammarskjölds väg 7.
We offer service and support to students, visitors and staff at Uppsala University. Here you can get help with disposable codes, campus cards and sales of profile products.

By car
Parking spaces are available outside the entrance on von Kraemers allé. These require a parking permit which visitors can pick up at the Service Centre and which is valid for one day. Tickets can be purchased in the Aimo app or at the car park machine.
Additional car parks are available in the vicinity, see Akademiska Hus parking map. Please note that some spaces are reserved for company cars and for rechargeable cars that need access to the charging points.
By bus
The nearest bus stops are Segerstedthuset (Dag Hammarskjölds väg) or Blåsenhus (Norbyvägen).

By bicycle
Bicycle parking is available outside the main entrances both towards Dag Hammarskjöld's road and von Kraemers allé. There are 236 spaces including 10 charging points.

Accessibility
Car parking for the disabled is available next to the entrance from von Kraemers allé 2. From this entrance there is also a lift between floors K1 and 0, the floors that are accessible to visitors. To get higher up in the building, there are lifts in the stairwells that require access via an access card.
In the Service Centre, it is possible to borrow a hearing loop for meeting rooms. This can be booked in advance by an employee in the building or through the Service Centre.
Smoking
It is forbidden to smoke outside Segerstedthuset in areas other than those designated for this purpose. There are litter bins with cigarette extinguishers on top;
- Between the bicycle stand and the patio at the von Kraemers allé 2 entrance (towards floor K1).
- At the car parks outside the goods reception at von Kraemers allé 4
Please note that in these places there is a smoke-free zone 15 metres from the building. This applies in all weather conditions. It is also not allowed to use e-cigarettes other than outdoors.
