The Centre for Disability Research (CFF) at Uppsala University is a hub for research on disabilities and impairments. We bring together researchers and research from all scientific fields with the aim of promoting the development of a more equal and inclusive society.

We organize a public lecture series where researchers from all disciplines at Uppsala University share their research related to disabilities and impairments.

We publish the journal "Research on Disabilities (Forskning om funktionhinder pågår)" four times a year, featuring current research on disabilities.

We coordinate the Swedish Network for Disability Research, a national research network with representatives in the Nordic network, and disseminate information to an open network of individuals interested in the field of disabilities/impairments. This includes not only researchers but also caregivers, family members, stakeholders, interest organizations, and the general public.

CFF also participates in external local and national conferences and networks with politicians and authorities to raise awareness about disability issues, spread knowledge, and collaborate on matters related to the field of disabilities.
