BUP for students

The Baltic University Programme (BUP) places a distinct focus on students and student activities. Today’s students represent the next generation of changemakers, and therefore the BUP aims to harness this dynamism by contributing to and facilitating opportunities for academic knowledge development, lifelong learning skills and networking opportunities. All of this within an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment at more than 100 participating universities across 10 different countries with a focus on sustainability science.

Throughout the year, the BUP offers a range of activities and initiatives for students to engage in, all reflecting our commitments listed above. The BUP for students represents sustainability knowledge, regional diversity and academic development in practice. Do engage with us!

Student Ambassador

The role of Student Ambassadors is to cooperate with the participating universities to serve as a contact person between their home university and its students and the BUP Coordinating Secretariat in Uppsala as well as the National Centra.

As the Student Ambassador of your home university, you are asked to promote BUP events and activities among your fellow students and academic staff. There are three different profiles that you can chose to be engaged in as a Student Ambassador, the social media group, the research communication group, and the event group.
