About us

The Division of Networked Embedded Systems was formed in April 2023 after the research group, led by Professor Thiemo Voigt, moved from the Department of Information Technology at Uppsala University to the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The objective of the Division of Networked Embedded Systems is to network all kind of objects from the tiniest sensors and actuators to more full-blown objects such as quadrocopters in a reliable, secure and efficient way. We also have one postgraduate subject and doctoral programme.

We publish at top tier conferences such as IEEE/ACM IPSN, ACM SenSys, ACM MobiSys, ACM MobiCom and EWSN.
