About the Department of History of Science and Ideas

About fifty persons are currently part of the staff or affiliated to the Department of History of Science and Ideas. The department is located in the old Fysikum building in the English Park.

The Centre for Medical Humanities and the Centre for Higher Education and Research as Objects of Study (HERO) are research units within the department.

The department is governed by a departmental board, with the head of department as chair person. Among its members are elected representatives for both staff and students.
