Epidemiological studies at the Department of Medical Sciences
Epidemiology is the study of the demography of disease. At the Department of Medical Sciences, we coordinate a number of epidemiological studies involving multiple collaborators and many patients followed over time. These cohorts represent a unique opportunity for epidemiological research.
SCAPIS
SCAPIS is a unique Swedish research project focused on the heart, blood vessels and lungs.

EpiHealth
Researchers at the Department of Medical Sciences are involved in EpiHealth - Epidemiology for Health - which is a joint Lund and Uppsala University initiative for national and international excellence. The study is coordinated by Lund University.
