Diet and Aging

Our research also delves into the intricate relationship between diet and aging. Aging is associated with various physiological changes, and our work aims to uncover how dietary choices influence processes such as catabolism, inflammation, body composition, and cognitive function. We have a particular interest in sarcopenia, a condition characterized by the loss of muscle mass and function that often accompanies aging. Exploring the link between diet and aging-related conditions allows us to contribute to the development of strategies that promote healthy aging and prevent age-related diseases.
