Visiting fellows programme

Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies has a well-established and comprehensive visiting scholars program that provides the opportunity to spend a longer or shorter period of time at our Institute. Over the years, over 80 visiting scholars from around the globe have carried out research at our Institute. As a visiting scholar you will get access to a unique and vibrant international research environment with full access to Uppsala University's library resources. You will also be able to attend our events - from our regular seminars to major international conferences. If you are interested in spending a shorter or longer period as a visiting scholar at IRES, please send us your application, together with your documents (CV with list of publications, one-sided draft of a research plan, planned finance) to visitingresearcher@ires.uu.se
