Research networks

Språk & lärande

The network brings together PhD students, junior researchers, lecturers and professors who are all researching language learning and/or multilingualism (in children, adolescents and adults) and related topics at the Faculty of Languages.

LangLit: Literary studies at the Faculty of Languages

This group connects researchers across the Faculty of Languages who study literary texts, apply literary theories or methodologies, or are simply interested in literature. Together, we represent a large number of European and non-European languages, with a diachronic span from archaic to modern times. Through curiosity and collaboration, we wish to foster a collegial spirit as a strong foundation for our continuing endeavors in literary research at our faculty.

SPHINX: A Network for Historical Linguists at the Faculty of Languages

SPHINX (Språkhistoriskt nätverk och samarbete) is a scholarly network aiming to foster collaboration between historical linguists in the Faculty of Languages at Uppsala University. Historical linguistics is broadly defined: members may be philologists, specialists in particular ancient or modern languages, general linguists, cognitive scientists, among other possibilities. Practitioners of any linguistic subdiscipline are welcome, provided their work is in some way related to the diachronic study of language change or to the synchronic study of historical language stages. The network is intended to promote an improved awareness not only of research results but also of relevant supervision and teaching activities across our departments.
