KoF24 Medfarm: Self-assessment for departments – reply by 24 March 2024

In early February, all departments at the Disciplinary Domain will receive a self-assessment questionnaire – the next step in the KoF24 Medfarm research evaluation.

The department’s self-assessment aims to provide the external expert panel with a basis for their assessment but also to give the departments a basis for internal development work. The questions in the self-assessment are open and discursive to provide the opportunity for reflection and to paint a picture of how the individual departments view and work with matters related to research.

In the self-assessment, departments are asked to reflect on certain background material and discuss five themes. The five themes are:

  • Successful research environments
  • Future areas of strength
  • Strategies for the development of research
  • Internal culture
  • Talent attraction and skills supply

The departments should finish the self-assessment by no later than 24 March 2024.

In the next step, the departments’ self-assessments will be shared with the Disciplinary Domain management and the external assessment panel. Some material may also form the basis for the final KoF24 Medfarm report and other Medfarm reports.

Plan for KoF24 Medfarm in brief:
