Processing of Personal Data in AKKA ADM (/test)

AKKA is Uppsala University's joint catalog and authorization system. The system handles information about the organization and people who are active at the university. This includes regular employees, other active personnel as well as students.

The registration and display of data linked to an organization or an individual can only be performed by trusted directory administrators. Personal and contact information linked to a specific individual may vary depending on the category (e.g. student or employee) and in some cases the use of other services at the university (e.g. accounts for e-mail addresses and/or telephone numbers).

The personal data that is handled in AKKA ADM (/test) are:

  • First name and Surname
  • Swedish personal identity number
  • User name
  • Email address
  • Organizational residence (incl. phone number if applicable)

AKKA is part of the university's IT infrastructure and is connected to other systems, e.g. Common Web Login and Active Directory. These systems can read basic personal data registered in AKKA to provide access to electronic resources at the university. In such cases, the information used is limited to only the information that is required for the process (e.g. name, username and/or e-mail address).

User data is never disclosed to third parties or third countries (countries that are not members of the EU or EEA).
