Search for calls in Research Professional
Research Professional is a comprehensive database that contains the vast majority of calls from national and international funders.
All employees at Uppsala University have free access to search the call database.
You can search directly in the database, but if you want to be able to use all the functionalities, you need to create an account. Once you have created an account, you can use the database’s more advanced search function. You can also customize and save your searches, as well as receive email notifications every time a new call matches your search criteria.
Create Account
When you create your account in Research Professional, you need to use a computer that has an IP address at Uppsala University. Once you have created the account, you can log in using any computer. For easier login, you can also link your Research Professional account to your AKKA login.

Do searches
Through the advanced search function, you can specify your search and find the right calls for you and your needs. You can, for example, filter on scientific discipline and more specific research area, type of grant, type of funder, size of the grant and the applicant’s nationality.

If you have created an account, you can save your searches and receive e-mail notifications every time a new call matches your search criteria. This way, you do not have to do new searches regularly in Research Professional.
