Surveillance and alarms

In the Ångström laboratory, camera surveillance takes place for shell protection and in some public areas. The camera surveillance, other surveillance and alarms are handled by a security contractor that is hired by Uppsala University.

Access control system

The campus card is personal and adapted for you to enter the premises you need access to. Whoever unlocks and opens a door with their campus card or key is responsible for who passes through the door. It is not permitted to let in people you do not know are authorized.

If you have lost your card, you should

• block your lost card in the service portal as soon as possible
• go to Keys and access card service and collect a new card.

If you find a campus card that has been lost from its owner, hand it in to the staff at Keys and card service.
