About the course
How does our brain work? What areas and structures enable us to understand and speak a language, listen to music, make decisions, feel different emotions and move? And how do the billions of neurons and hundreds of chemical transmitters help us to a normal brain function instead of having ADHD, Parkinson's disease, depression or schizophrenia? The course gives good insight into the biological basis of our behaviour and experiences.
Outline for distance course: This is a distance learning course with supervision and communication with the teacher via the learning platform Studium. An introductory meeting is given at the start of the semester. The examination takes place in Uppsala.
