SweDeliver's board will allocate resources for five research projects, each lasting six weeks, during the summer of 2021. SweDeliver is now looking for students in the final phase of their pharmacy, biomedicine, engineering or medical studies.

All projects will be carried out on site at one of SweDeliver's industrial partners. Thus, providing the opportunity to try out new ideas and giving students practical experience of pharmaceutical research in an industrial context. The initiative is also expected to be an effective platform for SweDeliver's future recruitments of undergraduate students and PhD students.

“With this, we want to contribute to increased mobility between academia and industry. Of course, we also identify an opportunity to strengthen students' engagement in SweDeliver's important research that already involves several leading pharmaceutical companies in Sweden, Finland and Denmark,” says Christel Bergström, Center Director and Professor of Molecular Pharmaceutics.
