The project aims to explore the contemporary rediscovery of philosophy as a path to health through a pilot study focusing on the philosophy of life of people living with spinal cord injury. de Miranda has created a collaboration with researchers in neurorehabilitation at Linköping University, in which he conducted interviews with spinal cord injured patients about their outlook on life. The analysis of the interview material is the basis for a further developed methodology for future studies of outlook on life in relation to experiences of illness and disability.
