Publishing interdisciplinary research

In the spring of 2024, the Centre for Medical Humanities will organize a doctoral course with the title "Publishing interdisciplinary research". The course is 3 credits and is aimed at doctoral students in biomedicine, health, humanities and social sciences, who work on interdisciplinary research projects, and who want to achieve visibility for their research beyond their own discipline. The focus is on the specific challenges to make visible and reach out with interdisciplinary research. The course deals with the academic publishing system, how publication traditions vary between scientific domains and disciplines, and what implications this has for information search and publication strategy in interdisciplinary research.
