ENLIGHT provides opportunities for teachers for professional development and networking through various types of conferences and networking activities.

Teaching & Learning Conference and Award

The ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference is an annual conference providing opportunities to be inspired by new pedagogical methods and innovations during three days at an ENLIGHT partner university. This conference is held annually at one of the ten universities of the ENLIGHT alliance. With focus on pedagogical methodologies, the conference offers opportunities to share current European experiences in teaching, gain new perspectives and share good practices with colleagues across ENLIGHT’s nine partner countries. The ENLIGHT Teaching and Learning Award is granted annually to a course initiative that exemplifies interdisciplinary and innovative pedagogical methods.

In 2022 the prize was awarded to Uppsala University (Sweden) for the course ‘Innovation Game Health’. Learn more about the course 'Innovation Game Health' on the European ENLIGHT website.

European dialogue

The ENLIGHT European Dialogue brings together universities and external stakeholders to discuss solutions for the societal challenges we face today in our European regions and globally. The dialogue is a networking event where ENLIGHT universities engage with external stakeholders and each other, sharing best practices, and fostering future research and education collaborations. It also incorporates an AIMday (Academic Industry Meeting Day) where inter-disciplinary researchers discuss challenges posed by industry partners and brainstorm innovative solutions, thus fostering learning, building new relationships and forging future collaborations.
