RESCUU Work Package 2
Three boot camps were organised within this work package. The aim was to help students to develop competences and skills in communication and project management as well as in innovation and entrepreneurship. The students and young researchers need to advance their careers as they will play an active role in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. The boot camps were organized in a hybrid format, giving the possibility for some students to meet in person, while connecting virtually with other participants and experts from Poland, Sweden, Finland, and Latvia.
The work package will be in two parts:

- WP 2.2. Boot Camp for International Cooperation in Entrepreneurship for Sustainable development

WP 2.3. Boot Camp "Science and Innovation for the Reconstruction of Ukraine"
The National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" invites Ukrainian students to participate in the boot camp "Science and Innovations for Ukraine's Reconstruction" held 8-12 July 2024 in Kyiv.
During the week, students together with experts, will look at the basics of civil security, military ecology, and humanitarian demining. They will investigate the role of modern technologies (artificial intelligence and 3D printing) in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine and discuss necessary changes in the most basic areas of the country's life during and after the war. Also, the participants will be able to propose their scenarios for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
The deadline for applications is 17 June 2024.

WP 2.2. Boot Camp for Startups and Entrepreneurship for Sustainable Development
This boot camp was a part of one of the biggest events in Ukraine dedicated to innovations and start-ups – the Sikorsky Challenge Festival, thus, student teams got the chance to present their startup ideas to a large audience. Students’ projects have been evaluated by an international jury. What’s more, students have received expert comments concerning the further improvement of their projects to make those projects appealing to potential investors.
WP 2.1. Boot Camp for International Cooperation in Research and Innovation
This boot camp on international cooperation in the field of research and innovation was held on 25-28 April 2023, as a hybrid event, and it was hosted by the National Technical University of Ukraine "Ihor Sikorskyi Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
