Infrastructure for Low Molecular Mass Spectrometry

Illustration av lab

The infrastructure for Low Molecular Mass Spectrometry has experise in drug analysis, metabolite analysis and metabolomics.

Description

Welcome to the Infrastructure for Low Molecular Mass Spectrometry at the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Uppsala University! The infrastructure is run in collaboration with the Facility for mass spectrometry-based proteomics at the Department of Chemistry-BMC.

We have expertise within chromatography and mass spectrometry regarding drug analysis, metabolite analysis and metabolomics.

Analysis

  • Advanced chemical analysis with chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS)
  • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals and endogenous compounds in biological material within e.g., pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic studies.
  • Analyses within metabolomics in studies of biochemical changes in e.g., disease and treatment in in vitro and in vivo systems.

Equipment

  • Acquity UPLC (different models, Waters Inc.)
  • Xevo® TQ-S (Waters Inc.)
  • Xevo® TQ-XS (Waters Inc.)
  • Synapt G2-S Q-ToF (Waters Inc.)
