Description
The Uppsala Economy and Society Lab applies a sociological perspective to the study of economic life. It has a theoretically and methodologically broad profile, and advances research on many topics like markets, work and labor relations, sustainability, welfare states, economic institutions and organizations. We investigate processes such as globalization and social challenges like discrimination. Our work supports sociologically informed advice to policymakers and other stakeholders with the aim of promoting just, prosperous, and environmentally sustainable societies.
