Biomedical Laboratory Science Programme
This programme is taught in Swedish
As a biomedical analyst, you will specialise in examination and analysis methods in medicine, engineering and science. You will work in an exciting, creative environment developing analyses and, among other things, analysing the samples needed to give patients the right treatment. At Uppsala University you will acquire the knowledge you need for national and international biomedical laboratory work.
Physiotherapy programme
This programme is taught in Swedish
Working as a physiotherapist means meeting people of all ages. Using movement and physical activity as your main methods, you will treat individuals with various disabilities and activity limitations according to their conditions. The physiotherapy programme is an education with theoretical and practical courses in the main subject of physiotherapy and medical, mental and behavioural science subjects.
During the programme you will learn how you as a physiotherapist can support and guide individuals towards healthier lifestyles.
Speech and Language Pathology Programme

We talk and discuss. We inform, write and read. However, some people cannot participate in the constant communication. When the difficulties have a medical background, the speech therapist diagnoses and provides treatment. As all communication starts from the brain, a good knowledge of brain anatomy and function is required.
Medical programme
This programme is mainly taught in Swedish
As a doctor, you need to master the latest advances in science, while being able to recognise and respond to the people behind the symptoms. This requires broad medical knowledge, scientific thinking, a humanistic approach, interpersonal skills and personal maturity. The medical programme provides a direct basis for a medical licence and also provides the foundation for further medical research.
Nursing programme
This programme is taught in Swedish
As a nurse, you are the nursing expert who works with people at the centre. Your expertise and values are based on an ethical approach, a humanistic view of people and a holistic approach that gives patients peace of mind. Your work will focus on nursing theory and clinical practice, research, development and education, and leadership.
