Open coaching
Engage in an open-ended conversation with one of our advisors. This is ideal for those curious about making practical use of their research results but may not have extensive experience yet. Remember, you don't need to have a specific idea to meet with us!

As a researcher, you hold a wealth of opportunities. The challenge is uncovering the gems in your research – those ideas that could blossom into tomorrow's innovations.
A simple way to begin is by taking our quick self-test. Here, you'll answer three questions about your research to get a sense of how your results can be applied and bring benefits beyond the scientific realm.
Should you choose to share your answers, entirely voluntary, we'll reach out to you and propose an initial meeting. Together, we can delve deeper into how your research results might create additional value in society.
Strategic management of research results
UU Innovation's course on Strategic management of research results focuses on the most fundamental aspect when creating added value from research: gaining insight into your knowledge assets.
The course takes a holistic approach to the subject. Over three seminars, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to identify potentially valuable research findings, how to take control of their use and how to contribute to ensuring these results are practically beneficial.
Intellectual property rights are integral to the course, and as a participant, you can choose to delve deeper into the area, such as patents or copyrights, most relevant to the knowledge assets you generate in your research.
3-credit course
The course is offered once per semester and consists of three half-day seminars.
For doctoral students, the course awards 3 ECTS credits. Other participants who complete the course receive a certificate of completion.
A workshop or a coffee break presentation?
We are happy to give presentations and inspirational talks on topics such as idea development, innovation and intellectual property. Our offerings extend to interactive workshops, or if you prefer, a brief introduction during fika.
