Norse World goes live – 2018-11-06
And the Norse World resource goes live! Today, on 7 November the research infrastructure Norse World is being released with free access for researchers and the members of the public.
Norse World is an interactive spatial-temporal resource for research on spatiality and worldviews in medieval literature from Sweden and Denmark. Go to the map to see for yourself! Or find out more about the project and the Norse World infrastructure.
In connection with the release, the project group is holding a seminar (in Swedish) called “A new research infrastructure takes shape: the digital resource Norse World and its possibilities”.
Time: 7 November, 2:15–4 pm, followed by a post-seminar get-together (with cake!) from 4 pm in the Staff Room
Place: Room 16-2041, Department of Scandinavian Languages, Uppsala University, campus Engelska parken, Thunbergsvägen 3 L
