Kunskapscentrum för katastrofpsykiatri
Kunskapscentrum för katastrofpsykiatri, förkortat KcKP, är inrättat vid institutionen för medicinska vetenskaper, Uppsala universitet, och bedriver verksamhet i samverkan med psykiatridivisionen vid Akademiska sjukhuset.
Kunskapscentret förvaltar kunskap inom området psykotraumatologi genom att
- samla, fördjupa och sprida kunskap och utifrån nya forskningsrön öka kunskaperna om traumatisk stress och dess följdverkningar
- driva och delta i forskningsprojekt, utredningar och riskanalyser
- utveckla svenska riktlinjer för utbildning på olika nivåer avseende krisstöd och behandling av traumatisk stress
- ansvara för och medverka i utbildning av hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal.
Vårt uppdrag för Socialstyrelsen
Kunskapscentrum för katastrofpsykiatri har på uppdrag av Socialstyrelsen att vara ett kunskapscentrum inom psykotraumatologi.
