VIPROM – Victim Protection in Medicine

VIPROM – a training and research project

VIPROM is an EU collaboration between Sweden, Greece, Italy, Austria and Germany. Health care professionals often come into contact with victims of violence at an early stage, so knowledge and effective tools to deal with these patients in the best possible way are of utmost importance.

VIPROM is a training and research project that aims to develop and implement target group-specific training programmes in domestic violence for practising doctors, nurses, midwives and students studying medicine. By investigating what is missing for various professional groups and utilising the knowledge and experience of several countries, a common training concept will be developed.

The project will run from 2023 to 2026.
