Every year we welcome hundreds of future pharmaceutical experts to Uppsala University's Bachelor and Master of Science Programmes in Pharmacy. For all new students, fantastic years await, filled with new experiences, knowledge and friends for life. The fact that your teachers have already made this journey does not matter. Much more than you think
As a student at our Faculty of Pharmacy, you take your first steps in an ongoing work to pave the way for better care and a healthier world. Our alumni include Richard Bergström, Swedish vaccine coordinator during the pandemic, Malin Grape, the world's first AMR ambassador, and Monika Magnusson, CEO at Apotek Hjärtat:

Master of Science Programme in Pharmacy • 300 cr
The Master of Science Programme in Pharmacy is a five-year education where you study the body and diseases from a pharmaceutical perspective. You learn how drugs are developed and used in an optimal way.
A pharmacist degree from Uppsala University gives you very broad career paths. Our alumni work with everything from research and consultancy to teamwork in healthcare, both in Sweden and internationally.

Bachelor of Science Programme in Pharmacy • 180 cr
Our Bachelor of Science Programme in Pharmacy is a three-year education with a focus on the use of prescription drugs. As a prescriptionist, you specialise in drugs and the profession's many important tasks include giving advise on drugs and how care recipients should use them, but you can also have a managerial position.
A degree from Uppsala University gives you very good opportunities to quickly start an attractive career.
