Almedalen Library (Campus Gotland)
Almedalsbiblioteket is an integrated public and university library. This website provides information for university students and researchers. For information about the public library, visit almedalsbiblioteket.se.
Accessibility
The library has two public floors. Door openers are located at the entrance from Cramérgatan 5. Lifts are available from the foyer and from the Campus Gotland entrance. There are accessible toilets on floors 2 and 3 and in the foyer. Search computers on adjustable tables are available.
Borrowing and returning books
Borrow and return
To borrow printed books from Almedalen Library, you must first create an account. The Campus card does not function as a library card at Campus Gotland.
Self-service machines for borrowing and returning books are located on floors 2 and 3. You can also leave books in the book drop at the back of the library (Kaserngatan).

Books for pickup
Books that you have ordered or queued for can be found on a shelf on level 2 (by the stairs, near the information desk).
Interlibrary loans
Interlibrary loans are available at the information desk on level 2. You can only check out interlibrary loans when the library is open (see opening hours above).

- No food is allowed in the library.
- Water and coffee is allowed.

Technical equipment and locally available e-resources
Public computers
Three of the computers allow you to log in with your student-ID. On the other 10, you can log in with your library card number/personal number and PIN code for Almedalen Library.
Eikon
In room E32 there is a computer with access to Refinitiv Eikon.
The database Svenska tidningar
In room room E39, there is a computer with full access to the National Library's database Svenska tidningar.
Copy, scan and print
Everyone is welcome to use the University's printing system eduPrint.
Wireless network
Students and researchers use the Eduroam network. Other visitors are welcome to use the UU-guest network.
Support
All IT technical support is provided by the University's IT support.
