Inauguration of Professors

In November each year the university organises a ceremony when the new professors at the university are installed. The ceremony is open to the public and usually takes place on a Friday at 3.00 pm. To be able to take part in the ceremony the new professors are obliged to hold a public installation lecture during the week preceding the ceremony. The lectures are short and are held in a popular scientific style befitting a general audience.
