Recall and create a new multi-factor authentication (MFA) for your user account
Have you lost your MFA key for your account?
When you have activated multi-factor authentication for your account, you are required to log in with multi-factor authentication when you want to make changes to your account on uu.se/konto.
If you have lost the key, you can always log in to uu.se/konto using your BankID app, which provides equivalent security to multi-factor authentication. If you don't have BankID, you can get help at one of the university's reception desks to restore your account.
Have you lost your MFA key for SharePoint Online?
If you need to change your phone or for some other reason delete your "Microsoft Authenticator" application on your phone, you need to contact IT support for help with recovery. You cannot reset or create a new multi-factor authentication (MFA key) on your own.
The guide below requires that you still have access to your MFA key in the Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator app. If you do not have access to your MFA key, see the information box above.
If you need a new MFA key to log in to Sharepoint Online, contact IT Support for assistance.
Step 1a
VIsit uu.se/konto and choose to log in udsing BankID under the heading "Log in with your user account."
Step 1b
If you have a functioning MFA key, you can choose to use "Joint Web Login", after which you'll be asked to authenticate your identity using that MFA key.To do so, enter the six-digit code you see in your chosen app/web browser.

Then navigate to the heading "Multi factor authentication: Mobile login (MFA with TOTP)".
Step 3
Scroll down the page until you see the box with your account name and MFA key activation time. Press "Recall key".
